Dymondia, Rock Ditty

Common name:Dymondia, Rock Ditty
Botanical name:Dymondia margaretae

This foliage is gray/green/silvery; it is a very dense, mat forming ground cover. It tolerates drought, cold, salt spray and poor soils. It's deep rooted and produces small, inconspicuous yellow flowers. Rock Ditty is great for use in between stepping stones or pavers.

Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper

Common name:Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper
Botanical name:Juniperus procumbens 'Nana'

The very dense growth of this plant is highlighted by foliage of a bluish green color. Its growth habit is very low, spreading, and mound-like, resembling a natural bonsai. This variety is one of the best Junipers for small garden spaces. Junipers are highly combustible plants.

Sandhill Sage, Coast Sagebrush

Common name:Sandhill Sage, Coast Sagebrush
Botanical name:Artemisia pycnocephala

This shrub will grow anywhere from 1'-3' tall and has small gray leaves accented by yellow flowers that bloom in spring.

Howard McMinn Manzanita

Common name:Howard McMinn Manzanita
Botanical name:Arctostaphylos densiflora 'Howard McMinn

This shrub is highly appreciated for its decorative characteristics, which include a dense show of small, pale pink urn-shaped flowers. Above all, it is the mahogany-red to brown bark (which peels beautifully) that is the major attraction. Its fruit resembles the tike apple, and the flowers contrast perfectly to the light green leaf (which can get rather tough). It blooms from late winter to spring. - Cornflower Farms
